tuesday: day five. the end.

we: used our early passes on tuesday. hit california adventure first. met aviator goofy. rode soarin' again and california screamin'. played midway mania twice, the older boys and the kids loved it. we saw the muppets show, where g had some free time to wander. rode the monsters, inc. ride and a few little kid roller coasters. hit the tower of terror with aw. that's her on the right. took pictures out front. bw is flashing a leg, trying to get picked up. aunt marguerite used to say it was a surefire way to get some attention. took pictures with gma and gpa. did the disney pose in front of the castle. bought some ears and had names sewn on the back. went on the princess walk and met mulan, belle, and tiana. and then my camera died. aw got her face painted and we saw aurora, cinderella, and snow white. i held aw up and aurora pointed to her, aw pointed to herself, like "me?", and then aurora nodded and waved. it was a great moment for aw. we felt kind of ripped off that we got mulan and tiana. they're not really princesses. we wanted the originals. i guess we kind of got them.

i know i am missing lots of details. they're there, in the corners of my mind. and i'll remember them along the way. they're the kind of memories that keep ya going. i am so glad that ben nagged us until we said yes, that g and e met us there, that mw's job let's us splurge a little, and that the kids squeezed every ounce of fun from our time together. we can't wait to go back next spring. or maybe, next fall? who's in?
