we're finally back! mw's trusty dental school laptop died. after seven long years, a dead battery that we never replaced, two power cords, a soap stain on the screen that never came off, hundreds of patient files (all deleted after graduation), indy west stake yw stats and notes, blog posts, thousands of pictures covering everything from the birth of aw through gw's first steps and our new home in washington; after being accidentally dropped on the floor (and purposefully thrown there), and way too many good and bad memories to mention, it slipped peacefully to the other side. and though i would love to toss it, the secret hoarder part of me wants to keep it forever. for now it is in the coat closet with about forty coats and various other non-functioning electronic devices. and as soon as i learn how to download pictures to our new desktop, i will update.
