another long weekend in longview. though we didn't stay the night this time. we made the drive each of the three days. the boys went 6-0 and won the tournament. cw had a great weekend. he seems to be putting it all together, the new stance, the tighter grip, mw's suggestion to spit on his gloves before he steps into the box, shifting his weight, and driving through the ball. he was incredibly consistent. his long body also makes him a pretty great first baseman, but that's just the opinion of his mother. his confidence was up and the rest of the kids really played well. they ten-runned four teams and beat kelso pretty handily in the championship. a great ending to a very long father's day. cw really lucked out. he has three great coaches. the improvements each of the boys have made over the last five weeks have been pretty incredible to watch.
