it's his birfday.

gw's birthday itinerary: be rotten, right from the getgo. watch cartoons with the kids before school. eat powdered donut holes at the bakery. i ended my boycott for this special occasion. the owners were uneffected, to say the least. walk, not ride in the cart, through toysrus. eat popcorn at target and throw half of it on the floor. one quarter of it was thrown at me and the other quarter was eaten. grab lunch at doby's with dad. ride in the wagon to get the kids at school. eat quesadillas at chipotle for dinner. no cake, no ice cream, no shilkshakes. just a cupcake. open presents: new "white queen" shoes, siddley the jet, a balance bike, etc. snuggle with dad and siddley. fall asleep with dad and siddley wearing the same shirt he wore all day.

injury report for wall manor.

status of injury and expected return to the active roster are included.

mw: 4 or 5 stitches on left hand (fully healed);

ew: herniated belly button no longer protruding; braces removed;

cw: trip to er for finger smashed by wagon wheel (lost fingernail); 3 stitches in mouth (fully healed); growing pains (argh);

aw: 70 stitches, skull fracture, brain bleed (fully healed); broken humerus (decasted and ready for fun 12/1);

bw: toddler fracture on top of foot (fully healed); eczema is no where to be seen (trying not to get a big head about it); rotovirus: GONE. five pounds lighter, but no worse for wear; broken right wrist, radial side (cast off 4/6), 15 degree bend in wrist; second degree sprain of left ankle, ligament damage, wearing walking boot until he can walk on his own (4/10/12);

gw: bilateral, lower lobe viral pneumonia GONE. but it took 5 weeks for the cough to completely subside; cracked noodle, six stitches (8/10);
