bw's birthday bash.

it must be so cool to have your birthday on a real holiday. a fun one. pearl harbor day is historically significant (which i love), but halloween is like the ferrari of birthdates. so in grand style, we partied it up. it was a beautiful day for a party. if only the sun hadn't set at 5:15. either way, we enjoyed hoosier chili and good company. it helps that bw is the most versatile birthday kid and playmate. he doesn't care if you're three or ten or tall or short or male or female. he'll play with anyone. which means that we can still invite our friends and their children, regardless of age, to bw's birthday parties, and he's still good and happy.

hats off to our adult friends who dressed up too: where's waldo, the pregnant cowgirl, a usc footballer (lame-same costume as last year, minus the dreadlocks), and an m&m.
