i veto chili.

i am so encouraged by the expanding and accepting palates of my growing children. the door is wide open for the creation of interesting and delicious dinner menus. no longer must we stick to grilled chicken, hot dogs, and spaghetti. we did determine that each child has, in their possession, one veto. it is only good for one entree. it is non-transferable. for example, cw has chosen chili as his never-have, never-will. he is served something else, something that he loves, on the night that we eat chili. the other kids haven't exercised their powers yet. it will be interesting to see what they choose.

i feel like vetoing making dinner in the first place. for the last 10 days, i have made dinner every night mor has been home. which means i get to eat the leftovers on the nights he's at work or school. i'm ready for a mcdouble, large fries, and coke with a hot fudge sundae to wash it all down.
