PREschool, why?

so, PREschool started back up last week and it has been REALLY, REALLY hard to get to school on time. of the 4 days that the kids have had school, i have turned lights on and off, sung the byu fight song 20 times, torn blankets off of little bodies, and threatened to do not nice things to sweet, little children (i.e. take away tv privileges, throw away baby dolls, spank). i have exhausted all known avenues of motivation to get my children out of bed and ready for PREschool. and why have i done this? it doesn't even count. they don't take attendance, serve lunch, or prepare kids for college. why am i not taking every opportunity to sleep in? next year, coop will be in kindergarten and my beautiful existence will be shattered. with this in mind, i have determined that i will no longer wake my children from sound sleep to drag them through the shower and on to PREschool. i vow to spend the next 8 months sleeping in until my children are "weak-with-hunger" in need of breakfast and the cartoons are calling to us from downstairs.
