field day.

gma ellie was here to go to field day at the kids' school. it was much different than the competitive field days at selma elementary: the timed 40 yard dash, the softball throw, the long jump. and i think, in a way, this was better. the kids played tug of war with the principal, who was dressed in loafers and dress slacks, and jumped in bounce houses. the weather was decent and the kids had a lot of fun.
