cw's end-of-the-year program was today. and can i just tell you? it is not the easiest thing to get up and get four kids bathed and dressed, fed and nursed (just the one), and get myself showered and clothed and out the door before nine. but we did it and it was well worth it. mw was able to meet us at the school, where we were wowed by two groups of kindergartners singing international hits like "a-tooty-ta," "the abc somethingorother," and "the macarena," complete with dance moves and corresponding words about the months on a calendar. cw is not exactly a man who loves the bright lights of stardom. he is much more to bask in the limelight when only a select few are present. he was, however, very excited to see his father in attendance. we had a great time and loved getting to see our almost-first grader perform for the last time with miss g's class. they ended the program with a presentation of the kindergarten completion certificates. the year really has flown by.
as a sidenote: the kid that sat beside cw rocked the entire time. he rocked front to back and then side to side. he rocked side to side so hard that he bumped cw and then leah, the girl sitting on the other side of him. cw was totally unfazed. you can tell he has lived his whole life with a rocker.

he is getting way too old.
Becca's class did the macarena month of the year song too! I really can't beleive that her kindergarten year is gone so fast! Now on to all-day school, which I am hesitantly excited about.
