i hate it when the pictures aren't aligned.

some random happenings:

so, bw's cast was removed on monday. the doc xrayed his wrist and found that the bone healed at a fifteen degree angle. they'll see him back in a month to check it again, but apparently they are only concerned if the bend is greater than thirty-five degrees.

for our hfe activity mw and the kids drew pictures of all the sesame street characters. mw added a few personal touches to the drawing of oscar.

some hilarious friends left this with us last weekend. both were used. notice i did not say consumed. i said "used."

we played outside by the creek on a beautiful, sunny day. and the next day it was windy and freezing cold. we took advantage of the day and spent much of it outside.

aw chose an orange and white gingham dress for easter and it has been nearly impossible to find a matching bracelet. and she is insistent that she have a bracelet. so we decided to make our own. and now all aw wants to do is make bracelets, or ankle bracelets. she has a hard time stopping once she starts.

we also decided to have easter pictures taken at the studio. it wasn't great. but it wasn't horrible either. it is a huge pain to get four kids to sit up straight and look at the camera and keep their hands down and smile at the same time. not to mention that it makes me mental when a pant leg is caught weird on a shoe or a piece of hair is out of place. i think that for as picky as i am, the pictures turned out great. pics of those later.

i also found some cool new socks. the other pair has a picture of zac across the front.

why is it that the pictures that i take at home, that cost me nothing, almost always turn out better than the pictures that i pay someone else to take? rhetorical.

the bw-sleeping-in-a-chair-thing happened again. for real?
