the morning of ainsley's 4th bday party came early. yo no preparo early. it was very much a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants day. i knew we were going to the movies to see wall-e and to donatos for pizza and cupcakes. other than that . . . i didn't have the plates, napkins, tablecloths, or cupcakes. after matt realized that i had purchased a "congratulations" banner, and with no time to exchange it, we headed out with our entourage of giggly, pink and purple clad girls. we received some really crazy reactions at the theater: 5 little girls, 2 little boys (coop and becks), and one set of parents. we took our seats and waited for matt and coop to grab the snacks. matt, coop, and one the theater employees came in with our treats. we proceeded to play musical chairs for the rest of the flick. we took 7 potty breaks (thanks to the cutest curly-haired little girls i know) and i left with a lap full of sprite. one of the girl's ate so much popcorn she couldn't eat any pizza. her mother told me she skipped dinner as well. after we opened gag-me-girly presents and ate the world's best breadsticks and pizza and fantastic cupcakes we took the girls home, goody bags in hand. thank you to the moms who let us take their girls for the morning. we had a blast and ainsley was thrilled to spend the day with her friends!
