this toy is the greatest christmas purchase of the decade! whenever he sees it, he puts it on the floor and plops down in front of it.

gma connie - these are for you. notice the old school sandals. aw's cupcake dress was a hit at church. one mom told me she would pay me double the price. it's just such a gma and aw dress.



mw took the older kids to burfoot park on saturday while gw and i lounged in the sun, and crib, at home. i hurt my back at the pool last week and am just about worthless. two major points of interest here though: 1) my favorite friend made a chiropractic housecall and i love him for it; 2) we joined an athletic club that costs about six times what our y membership in indy cost. we are definitely paying for the quality of company we keep. as snotty as it sounds, i find it totally worth it.

gw is what, twenty months. this is his first popsicle. he devoured it. they're just so dang messy. i hate them. HATE THEM!

we spent a great week with aunt shell and dave e. we have no photographic evidence of this, but the memories of this wonderful week are imprinted on the hearts of our children. we went to the pool, hung out with the eldreges for dinner in "the cave," had dq and baskin robbins, watched cw play soccer in 95 degree heat, talked about weddings and children and moms and happiness and inappropriate things. we went on a great date, at which both couples split meals. here we come gary and ellie! we saw a great movie and sweat to death two consecutive nights because we have no ac. we celebrated with shell when they heard back from salt lake and made plans to go to utah in august for a very special wedding. we enjoyed good company and great conversation and hope that there will be many more family visits to our home in the evergreen abyss!
