a late start.

this year i am going to . . .

1. finally lose all the leftover baby/i-love-sweets-and-i-have-no-self-control weight. i'm done having kids. i need to get on with it.
2. lower my voice.
3. talk less. but not listen more. listening is way boring.
4. go away for a weekend with just mw.
5. return more phone calls. i'm not making any promises.
6. take a quiet vacation with mw and the kids. sorry hoosiers. sorry utahns. we have set our sites higher.
7. read all of my childhood favorites. again. i think i'll start with ramona. or maybe the bunnicula series.
8. buy a real pair of heels. and wear them.
9. floss more. i hate flossing.
10. stop tailgating.
11. embrace aw's love of skirts.
12. keep holding gw like a tiny baby every time he has a bottle.
13. start washing my face with something other than the dove bar. i'm thirty. it's time i graduated to adult skin care products.
14. stop vacuuming every day. it is unnecessary. but the carpets look so nice with lines in them. so maybe not. maybe i can't stop.
15. make a more concerted effort to keep in touch with friends. old and new.
16. spend every evening with mw. just being.
17. buy more shoes. air maxes, benny shoes, uggs. all shoes.
18. keep the bangs. i hate them. but i look so severe without them.
19. call my wall family more.
20. be content. in all things.
