painting with aw.

aw has been begging me for days to let her paint on the canvases we bought three months ago. but the timing has been so bad. the baby was sick and then cw didn't have school. and she was adamant that she didn't want the boys to paint with her. so cw went back to school, the baby napped by himself (i have a tendency to hold him when he sleeps so that i can hear him breathing), and bw crashed. and aw's wish was granted. she painted a very jackson pollock-type masterpiece (that is hanging in her room) and a picture of gma connie, mom, and aw. it's funny, she always, ALWAYS writes the s in her name backwards. and i don't correct it. it is quirky and endearing and i love it. but cw doesn't love it. in fact, it really seems to piss him off. and i love that too.
