i found this clip of bw from earlier this month. he has a new favorite song. and cw and aw's primary program was today and i was a little nervous. last year, cw stood up and said into the mike, "i'm not doing this." and then he sat down. this year, his part was a little bit longer and though he can read basic site words, others, such as "premortal" and "divine nature" are not yet in his repertoire. today he stood and said his part, with only a little assistance from the primary instructor. it was wonderful. aw stood and said her part, in her sweet, little voice. oh what a trickster she is. she has everyone fooled. but i have to admit, with the promise of a my little pony waiting for her at home, she was remarkably well behaved. and, AND, she sang much, much louder than everyone else. EVERYONE. she definitely made her presence known. and she was very proud of herself. it didn't help that everyone had a comment about how well she knew the songs and how they heard her above everyone else. i'm so bummed that mw had to miss it. it must really suck sometimes being the one that has to think about our financial future and stability. i just get to roll along, watching cw's football games, enjoying primary programs with my mother, rocking bw to sleep, and taking the kids to walmart on saturday night to make sure we have enough treats to get us through sunday. mw spent the weekend in columbus at a practice managment seminar. boring. even poopy diapers are more exciting than the prospect of a weekend with 70 orthodontists in the great state of ohio.
