i have three children.

coop has been getting a lot of face time. allow me to explain. ains spent a few days with mom and missed some pretty exciting events and beckett, well he just doesn't cooperate as well as the others. in addition, coop loves having his picture taken. loves it. so while ains was at mom's we went to the zoo and it was fantastic. having a double stroller and only two kids was unreal. while ains was gone i came to the conclusion that the reason three is so much more work than two is because she and coop are always at each other. always talking, fighting, yelling, laughing. always loud. and then there's still beckett. he still needs snacks and drinks and naps and loves. so we rode the train at the zoo. we played in the water park at the zoo. we went to the pool for the first time. summer has officially begun. although this year is already posing challenges that i have not faced for a long time.

when ains got home we kept right on moving. becks got in my bath water while i got a towel and he was still in his pjs. we went to an indians game with friends and played at home. matt got a lot of extra time with the kids this weekend, as i did not feel great. then again, " a lot of extra time with the kids" for matt means 45 minutes playing outside and arriving at stake conference 30 minutes late. we set up the pool in the backyard and bought another slip-n-slide. each summer we buy one and throw one away. becks figured it out this year and loved playing with the kids in the blow up pool. he's a champ. one of these days he and ains are going to come to fisticuffs and i really think becks has a chance. he gives back much better than coop does. he still cries when she yells at him.

for fhe, we headed to the driving range with some friends. ains, becks, and i sat on a bench about 20 feet behind the tees. i'm a little overly paranoid now and ains is too. on a sad note, there is still some blood on the head of coop's driver.
