at least this one is vented.i am going to get in so much trouble for this. my mother did not see the humor last time, nor will she see it this time. my only defense is that the laundry basket has holes, or vents, all over it. speaking of my mother, after watching the kids while i went to the doctor, she took coop home with her to spend the night. in the past she has tried to get coop, ains, and emerson to spend the night on the same night. coop has steadfastly refused to stay at her house when the girls are there. so, about once a month, he gets her all to himself. and this time they packed a ton of activities into wednesday afternoon and thursday morning. they swam at aunt lana's, weeded in the backyard, ate coop's favorite meal for dinner (smoked sausage, green beans, and potatoes), stayed up until 10pm and slept in aunt weed's bed, got up at 9:30am and ate cereal and crispy bacon for breakfast, etc. boring for most of you, i know.
coop was the sheriff and becks was his deputy.so, today i met mom to exchange ains and em for coop. on the eve of her 60th birthday she has opted to have a slumber party with her two granddaughters. from the time i picked up em at 12:15, to the time i met mom at 1:10, the two girls never stopped gabbing.
ainsley's hair in a ponytail. a proud day, indeed. a friend recently told me that she has a hard time following my blog because i write in such a random manner. unfortunately, this is also the way i think. so i throw everything together, add a few commas and conjunctions, and there you have it. the truth of the matter is that i write for me. best case scenario: this turns out to be a wonderful journal of the early lives of my children. worst case scenario: this is it.
onward. beckett fell and hurt his other foot. he jumped, unassisted, into the baby pool and came out limping. by the time we were ready to head to the er, his left leg buckled every time he took a step. the registration nurse recognized us immediately. yes, i am ainsley's mom. yes, she has healed beautifully. she wears her battle scar well. and yes, we were in here five weeks ago when becks broke his right foot. so here we are again. good news this time . . . the xrays were clean. however, the doctor told us it is possible he sustained another "toddler break." and as long as he doesn't seem to be in too much pain we can just let it heal on its own. so beckett's saga of gritty determination continues. he takes the hits and keeps on going.
need i say anything at all?

I love reading about your cute little family. I miss you guys a ton. You talking about the pool makes me miss Indiana. I noticed that your Ortho school countdown is almost down to a year. YEAH! YEAH! That means we have been done a year. SCARY! And I am still driving that DANG minivan. Are you guys coming out west anytime this summer?
