world's worst spring sing. but the ice cream was good.

talk about bad. i mean, ugh. the looks on the kids' faces during the performance said it all. after the show, aw said she was just glad it was over. she asked if we were as embarassed as she was. not sure what to say to that. embarassed isn't the right word. maybe mortified? but not by the kids. at the lack of effort and the choice of music, which half of the kids didn't even know? yes. the music teacher is just awful. hopefully she's nearing retirement. good to see our tax dollars at work. i'd rather cut the music class and add another day of p.e. maybe then we won't all dread the spring sing. 31 flavors was the highlight of the night. obviously many of the other school families felt the same way. the ice cream shop was packed to the brim with woodland kids, all of whom looked happy to be there.
