when you have four kids and issues with leaving them, valentine's day is not so romantic. but we hit a few of our all-time favorite places (qdoba, dick's sporting goods) and a few of our past favorites (krispy kreme and lost somewhere northeast of i5). while we savored our burritos, we laughed about how everyone knew us at the qdobas in indy because we ate there at least twice a week. sometimes we would hit the 'dob for breakfast and then again for dinner. we almost always went with one of two couples, the winters or the hollands. we reminisced a little about all the cool things we've done as a family and all the great friends we've made. we talked about missing family. i told the story about waiting in line with weed, brit, and shell at one in the morning, the week that the krispy kreme in orem opened. mw told them about the first valentine's we spent together and the anniversary dinner we had that b and b crashed; brit's cousin showed up too. we talked about our upcoming trip and all the cool things we're going to do. and it was just one of those evenings that will stay vivid in my mind for a long time. for all the right reasons.
we crashed cw's valentine's party at school.
i think, more than anything now, valentine's day is a fantastic reminder for me of all the people i love all of the things i have to be grateful for.

So funny about Qdoba. We went there A LOT too. Now that we have Cafe Rio though we try to switch it up. :)

And Krispy Kreme. I lived in the apartments right by there and couldn't even get out of my complex that day or even weeks after they opened.
