helpmeets for one another!?

mw came home to this note a few days ago. the same day as the chocolate milk debacle. imagine that.

e-weed whacks (3x a month); m-weed whacks (1x every 3 months).

e-empties sandbox when needed; m-.
e-sweeps kitchen floor (2-3x a day); m-when he breaks a dish.
e-mops kitchen floor; m -.
e-dusts kitchen; m-.
e-vacuums kitchen rugs; m-.
e-wipes tables/counters; m-.
e-wipes off stove, fridge; m-.
e-organizes drawers, cabinets; m-.
e-does dishes (3-4x a week); m-does dishes (1-2x a week).
e-makes dinner (2-3x a week); m-makes dinner (1-2x a week).
e-takes out trash (5-6x a week); m-takes out trash (2-3x a week).
e-does laundry (nonstop); m-brings laundry dwnstairs. when asked.
e-vacuums house (2x a day); m-vacuums house (when asked).
e-dusts (1x a week); m-dusting? what is dusting?
e-puts things on stairs and then puts them away; m-picks up things on stairs when he wants to wear them.
e-picks up kids' rooms; m-.
e-changes sheets; m-.
e-puts tp on roll; m-puts tp on roll when aw tells him to.
e-picks up clothes off floor; m-why should he when ew does?
e-puts books on shelf; m-tosses books on floor near shelf.
e-cleans pee off bathroom floors; m-pees on bathroom floors.
e-wipes bathroom counters; m-.
e-makes kids' beds; m-throws blankets and pillows on beds.
e-puts away her own clothes; m-puts away his own clothes when
guilted into it.
e-cleans tub (1x every 2 wks.) and again after mw cleans it; m-cleans tub when begged for 8 days straight.
e-vacuums her car; m-vacuums his own car 1x every 5 yrs.
e-TAKES CARE OF KIDS; 8am-8pm w/ no breaks; m-GOES TO SCHOOL; 8am-5pm, 4 days a week, w/ a 1 hr. lunch break and people his own age to converse w/.

disclaimer: this list is by no means all-inclusive. but as i was trying clean up the house and make dinner for the kids while getting them ready for soccer practice, i couldn't justify spending anymore time stating the obvious discrepancies in our household responsibilities.
